JOB DESCRIPTION

• HDL coding such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, …
• Investigate, implement and optimize complex algorithms on FPGAs.
• Design and implement digital system on FPGA (Xilinx, Intel Altera).
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to develop efficient interfaces and ensure seamless integration between FPGA and other system components.
• Perform detailed analysis, simulation, and verification of FPGA designs to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with project requirements.
• Prototype and validate FPGA designs using hardware development boards and lab equipment.
• Propose solution architecture for team or customer.

YOUR SKILL

Educational background

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic & Telecommunication, Computer Science, or related fields.

Technical skill

• At least 3 years of experience in FPGA development (academic lab work or hands-on project experience is acceptable).
• Able to use FPGA development tools such as Vivado and Quartus.
• Able to work in Linux environment and develop scripts to support development activities.
• Have knowledge of computer architecture and on-chip bus protocols such as AXI.
• Have experience in digital design, including FSM, CDC, and related concepts.
• Have experience in creating verification environments and test cases, and applying verification methodologies (Assertion, Expected Value Comparison, etc.).
• Have experience in synthesis, timing analysis, constraint management, and resource optimization.
• Have experience in developing software to control and interface with hardware.
• Experience in deployment and debugging on FPGA boards is a plus.

Language skill

• Fluency in English (TOEIC 600 or higher).
• Japanese: JLPT N4 or HIGHER IS A BIG PLUS.
