Job Description

Toshiba Software Development (Vietnam) Co. Ltd. (TSDV) are looking for motivated students who have strong background in related technical fields (see below detailed knowledge/skill requirements) & great passion in developing their career path in machine learning (ML) field.

Suitable candidates will have chances to join on-the-job training at TSDV & opportunities to join as Engineers in near future.

The main duty of the joined research centre is to research & develop computer systems using machine learning state of the art techniques in variety of business domains, which targeted to Toshiba products & solutions.

Your Skills

Education

• Final year students in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Can spare at least 20 hours/week to work at TSDV.

Mandatory Skills

• Have true passion & motivation in AI/Data Science related fields.
• Strong analytical skills/mindset
• Solid background at Linear Algebra, Probability & Statistics, Signal Processing
• Familiar with one of programming languages: Python (most preferred), C++, Java
• Active, good team player, good sense of responsibility

Advantage if have:

• Basic knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, data analytics, optimization
• Basic experience of DL frameworks (Keras/TensorFlow, Pytorch), Python libraries (scikit-learn, numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib)
• Basic experience of Generative AI/LLMs
• Familiar with Linux OS.
• Good at English (especially reading, listening, writing skills); knowing Japanese is a plus.
