Power Plant Control Systems Engineer (FRESHER)

Job Description

Design and develop control and monitoring systems for hydroelectric, thermal (including geothermal), and nuclear power plants. The role focuses on system design, hardware configuration, and software development to ensure stable, efficient, and reliable power generation that supports essential social infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design control and monitoring systems for power generation plants under guideline of leader, based on Toshiba Product: PLC, DCS equipments
  • Develop system architecture, hardware configurations, and software logic for:
    • Turbines, water turbines, generators
    • Power plant operation and supervisory control systems
  • Select and integrate hardware components such as control panels and devices
  • Implement control logic in software: Toshiba PLC
  • Support efficient construction, operation, and maintenance of power plants
  • Participate in ICT-based product development and project teams

Your skills

  • Basic engineering knowledge in one or more of the following: Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Automation and control Engineering, Information Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics
  • Have Japanese skills equivalent to JLPT N4 or higher
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
  • Interest in large-scale systems and social infrastructure

Preferred Skills

  • Interest in or possession of Information Technology–related certifications
  • Strong motivation to learn and develop as an engineer
  • Interested in contributing to energy and infrastructure systems
  • Proactive, responsible, and willing to take on challenges
  • Enjoys teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
