Junior Software QA

JOB DESCRIPTION


Working as junior QA member at TSDV, qualified member will not only make sure quality assurance activities are implemented and followed standard process in assigned project, but also auditing process implementation in different groups to find out non-compliance issues, propose for process improvement later.
**Support process implementation in assigned project:
- Discuss with project team to understand their project characteristics and confirm process implementation according to tailoring checklist items.
- Guiding project in using standard tools and templates related to development work.
- Execute project weekly tracking to find out risk/issue through abnormal indicators.
- Support project in preparing for milestone review: Collecting, validating and analyzing project data.
** Auditing process implementation in different groups
- Follow assignment, do process implementation audit for different groups in organization, find out non-compliance issues if any and follow up the team in taking corrective action.
- Confirm result of non-compliance issue.
**Contribute to Software process improvement activity in organization
Collect and report lesson learned, best practices from supported projects to Software process improvement committee for consolidation to organization database.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

**Mandatory Skill:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant fields.

- Basic understanding about computer science and software development steps from requirement analysis, design, coding to testing
- Basic understanding about different software development cycle like Waterfall, Incremental, Agile
- Knowledge about CMMI model is a plus
- Have certification about CMMI Introduction course or CSQA is a plus
- Technical aptitude to quickly learn new tools and techniques


** Soft skill

- Good English at four skills: Listening, Speaking, Writing, Reading
- Good communication skills to be able to work well with different groups
- Problem solving skill to be able to adapt with different situations in each group, regarding to project characteristics
- Team oriented, supportive and enthusiasm
